You might take a hike in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, scope out bargains at the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlet. You can walk to many nearby Michigan City Events in historic Washington Park or the take the kids for a walk to the Zoo!

You might try your luck at the Blue Chip Casino. You could tour nearby vineyards, and museums or take in a concert.

If you care roam, South Bend is only 30 miles away. Beyond this lies the Amish community at Shipshewana. Closer to The Cottage you might discover things to do in La Porte County or dine in one of many restaurants just over the state line in Michigan or head west towads the Dunes to nearby Chesterton or Valparaiso.

There are also challenging golf courses nearby - here are links to the links: Michigan City Golf and LaPorte County Golf.
