Complete kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, ice maker, blender, dishwasher. Large, sun-drenched deck with deck chairs, umbrellas, outdoor dining plus beach chairs. Washer/dryer and beach shower. Second Wind is next door to Breaking Away. The two properties can be rented together to accommodate larger parties. |

The fully-equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, Gevalia coffee maker. The large family room offers HDTV, DVD, iPod player, wi-fi, and assorted books and games. Washer/dryer. There are two outdoor decks, front and back. The expansive patio seats 10+ for outdoor dining. Breaking Away is next door to Second Wind. The Beach: Recently I travelled up north to Charlevoix, Traverse City and Petosky and saw the often small, somtimes rocky, cold water shore. Now I understand why folks ask so many questions about our beach ( how big is it? ...what is the sand like?... is it rocky?). Our beach is a beautiful wide "sugar sand" shoreline. It's about 100 yds wide and over 4 miles long. Recently I took a few photographs focussed on the beach itself. You can see these photos here: |
